Frequently asked questions

Find detailed answers below about our Canadian and international shipping rates, packaging standards, dispatch times, and transit protection.

Where do you ship, and how are shipping costs calculated?

We proudly ship worldwide! We have two distinct shipping brackets: one for domestic orders within Canada and one for international deliveries. Shipping rates are calculated based on the total weight of your package at checkout.

How long will it take to prepare and dispatch my order?

Because our handcrafted shells, trinket dishes, and night lights are made in limited quantities, we may create your piece upon ordering. Production typically takes up to 4 business days. Once completed, your item is dispatched immediately.

How long does shipping take once dispatched?

Standard delivery within Canada generally takes about 5 business days. International shipping times vary depending on the destination country and exact location.

How do you protect delicate shells, resin, and gold stands during transit?

We pack every piece with extreme care in sturdy corrugated boxes. Each item is individually wrapped in soft silk paper and high-grade bubble wrap. We line both the bottom and top of the box with cushioning, seal it securely with heavy-duty tape, and clearly mark the package as fragile for delicate handling.

Are shipments insured?

Yes. For your peace of mind, every parcel sent from Coastal Treasures includes shipping insurance through our carrier.

What should I do if my shell arrives damaged?

While we take every precaution, accidents can happen in transit. If your item arrives broken or damaged, please take clear photos of the item and packaging right away and email them to coastal.treasures.questions@gmail.com so we can resolve the issue promptly.
